Solanart is a fully-fledged NFT marketplace based on the Solana network that allows anyone to acquire or sell Solana-based NFTs. Solanart aims to help promote artists and creators by providing them with a trustless marketplace to share their art.

When putting your NFT for sale, it is stored on a 'Temporary Account' owned by the marketplace program and added to a database which stores the data of the sale. When someone buys your NFT, the program transfers the SOL amount from the buyer to the seller, and then unlocks the NFT which is sent to the buyer. Solanart uses both on-chain and off-chain data. The off-chain data is stored on a database and used to display all the NFT for sale on the main page, while the on-chain data is used when displaying NFT one by one, or from the 'My NFTs for sale' section in the 'Wallet' tab. The choice of using the database for the main page was made to allow easy sorting of all NFTs per attributes, price, oldest or newest sales etc. On-chain data provides a secure and decentralized experience. In fact, the marketplace could be fully decentralized, but handling multiple thousands of NFTs for sale and displaying them with filters on the main page is currently not an option because of the request limitation on the Solana Network.

1. Create a Solana wallet. We recommend Solflare. 2. Download the wallet extension for your browser (Google Chrome recommended). 3. Buy SOL on an exchange like FTX (recommended), Binance or Coinbase and send it to your wallet's public address. 4. Once you have loaded up your wallet, navigate to https://solanart.io/ and connect your wallet by tapping the 'Connect wallet' button in the upper right corner.

Global Offer allows you to place a bid for any NFT within a collection. This feature provides liqudity for people selling, without affecting the floor price for the collection. We are also introducing Global Offers on attributes, so you will be able to place a Global Offer on your favourite skin or clothing with some collections.

If the Collection has the Global Offer feature, you can find the Global Offer tab on the main collection page next to the Items and Activty tabs. You can also place a Global Offer by going into your Dashboard, selecting My NFTs and then Global Offer. A 3% marketplace fee is taken on the selling price of every transaction. A creator's fee, which is chosen by the creators and therefore varies depending on the collection, is also taken on the selling price and fully perceived by the creators. Make sure you have enough SOL to cover transaction fee before listing your NFT for sale.

Explore the marketplace and click on the 'BUY' button of the NFT of your choosing. You then have to approve the transaction in your wallet. Your NFT will be visible in your Solanart Dashboard under the 'My NFTs' section.

First, connect your wallet using the 'Connect Wallet' button. Click on the 'Wallet' tab and you should now see the NFTs that you can put for sale. Click on 'SELL' and add a description. Enter the price in SOL at which you would like to list your NFT. Please remember not to use a comma or point to separate thousands (ie: if you want to sell your NFT for 2000 SOL, enter '2000' and not '2.000' or '2,000'). Click on 'SELL', confirm the transaction in the popup of your wallet and wait a few seconds for the transaction to go through.

Head to the 'My NFTs' section in the 'Dashboard' tab. Click on 'CANCEL SALE', wait a few seconds for the transaction to go through and you should see your NFT appear in your wallet within a few minutes.
